Romney Wins Maine Caucuses???

Posted by Jesse on February 3, 2008

Huffington Post is the source. I have seen other publications citing similar numbers.

“Mitt Romney coasted to a win in presidential preference voting by Maine Republicans on Saturday…. with 68 percent of the towns holding caucuses reporting…..The nonbinding votes, the first step toward electing 18 Maine delegates”

These numbers are very misleading. These are Presidential preference survey numbers people!! Not delegates!!

Besides, there is still 1/3 of the towns yet to report!!

Ron Paul has a lot of delegates that will attend the Stae Convention in May. Some of Romney’s supporters can be converted if they thought Ron Paul could win. Step up folks! Vote for the best man. Stop trying to be pragmatic and giving in to peer pressure!!
Ron Paul is the best man for the job. Hands Down.

Paul easily beat McCain from what I have seen for results. Romney has a clear lead.
But consider this. Turn on your TV and you will find McCain leading in the “national polls” but he will lose the general election. Yet Romney seems to have a much better chance of the getting the nomination when you talk to people on the ground.

Ron Paul, you know, the “crazy one”, is now creeping up from behind. He is still in the race and doing well despite the uphill battle. Ron Paul is hardly ever mentioned in the political “strategizing” you find in the major media. And yet, he is not only still in the race, but gaining ground. There are two frontrunners. Romney and Paul.
